Cryoanalgesia is the therapeutic use of cold to provide temporary and reversible numbing of superfi cial sensory nerves in the skin. This product has been specifi cally designed to allow the User to deliver a carefully dosed burst of liquid cryogen at -50°C to the skin area prior to insertion of a needle. Suitable for paediatric clinics, primary care and GP surgeries, phlebotomy departments and minor op facilities. This unit is also suitable for use in dentistry for oral application to test nerve root perception to cold.

Cryoanalgesia is the therapeutic use of cold to provide temporary and reversible numbing of superfi cial sensory nerves in the skin. 1. Hold canister 5 cms from the area you wish to inject. Press the actuator fi rmly to discharge a single measured burst of cryogen. Wait for 2 seconds and repeat.

2. Wait 2-5 seconds whilst for the cryogen to evaporate and then insert the needle firmly and precisely.

Cryotherapy is the therapeutic use of cold to provide pain relief and rehabilitation therapy to skin and soft tissue (muscle, tendons, ligaments) and joints (strains, sprains).
